Westlake Village Animal Hospital was the Ventura County readers' choice award last year, 2010. We would like it to be Ventura County Readers' choice for 2011. As you know, Westlake Village Animal Hospital has move to its new location at 31166 Via Colinas on October 23 2010. The facility expansion as well as the new partnership has been very beneficial for the doctors and the patients as well as their owners. The two hospitals that merged in the partnership are: Westlake Village Animal Hospital and Agoura Westlake Animal Hospital. The Doctors are Dr.Daniel Slaton from Westlake Village Animal Hospital and Dr. Steve Rosentein from Agoura Westlake Animal Hospital. We also have added a third full time veterinarian, Dr. Stacy Rothman. Dr. Howard Martin continues to work 2 days a week with avian and exotic patients.Since the move and the merge, the new facility has added many services as well as extended hours: Monday through Friday open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm as well as Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Westlake Village animal Hospital has also a 24 hours on-call emergency service with a Nurse/technician available to answer your calls until midnight every day. We also have added a monthly non-anesthetic dental cleaning service. Also,, the summer season will be here quickly and that is considered the busiest season of all. So please plan far ahead and once you know your vacation dates, book your overnight reservations. Day Camp for your pet is becoming very popular and it is a great way to treat your k9 family to some fun all day while you are way at work or shopping. And while at day camp, let our grooming department treat your pet to a wonderful Spa bath! Reservations are preferred and of course day camp is only open to social K9s who must have an evaluation.
